NEW ORLEANS – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced today, July 26, that Elon track and field has been named a 2012 Division I Track & Field All-Academic Team. The Phoenix claimed the honor after finishing the 2012 spring semester with a cumulative GPA of 3.30. This is the fourth straight year the maroon and gold have been named an all-academic team, while also improving its team GPA from a 3.28 in 2011.
