Sophomore Nick Reynolds paced the Quakers in Friday's Guilford Invitational/ODAC Preview Meet on Guilford's Meadows Course.

Rookie Sommer Fanney led Guilford with a 16th-place individual finish in Friday's Guilford XC Invitational/ODAC Preview.

Meredith College junior Allie Gallagher led the Avenging Angels to a second place finish in the St. Andrew's Cross Country Invitational Friday evening. Columbia College claimed first with 36 points and Meredith followed in a close second with 38.

CULLOWHEE, N.C. Running their first race of the 2014 season both UNC Asheville men's and women's cross country teams finished third at the 2014 Western Carolina Invitational on Friday evening on the campus of the Catamounts.

The Elon University men's and women's cross country programs opened its 2014 season on Saturday morning, Aug. 30, with a dual meet sweep versus local rival and former conference foe UNCG at the Elon Cross Country Course.
