East Carolina junior Avion Jones took first in the men's high jump as the men's team is in fifth place with 35.50 points, while the women's squad sits in sixth place with 25.50 on day three of the American Athletic Conference Outdoor Championships.

East Carolina was led by Aminah Ghaffar and Dylan Spadaccini who each set a new school record in the multi-events. The ECU men now sit in fourth place with 16.5 points, while the women's squad is in fifth place with 17.5 points.
