The winner of the Olympic decathlon is often dubbed the "World's Greatest Athlete." The 10-event journey is certainly one that requires immense skill, endurance and strength, and is one of the highlights of the VertKlasse meeting each season.

The High Point University women's track & field completed a weekend of competition with a series of top-5 finishes at the Winthrop Invitational Saturday.

Senior Leah Anne Wirfel set a new PR by more than 30 seconds in the 5000m run to lead the High Point University women's track & field team on day one at the prestigious Raleigh Relays at the Paul Derr Track Complex.
