Carolina's women's athletics program finished first in the annual Capital One Cup, which is awarded to the best men's and women's Division I athletics programs in the country.

Malia Cali, Lianne Farber, Annie LeHardy, Ashley Miess, Karley Rempel and Isaac Presson earned All-ACC Academic honors as announced Wednesday by the conference.

The Tar Heels will welcome 10 student-athletes in multiple disciplines as part of head coach Harlis Meaders' first recruiting class in his tenure at Carolina.

Lianne Farber was recognized as a 2012 USTFCCCA Cross Country All-Academic.

Addie Bracy, a former distance runner and volunteer coach at Carolina, has made the USA Track & Field senior women's team and will compete in Scotland on Saturday.
