The Western Carolina men's and women's cross country teams both finished sixth at the 2014 Southern Conference Cross Country Championships Friday morning. The women tied for sixth with Mercer with a total of 175 points. The event was hosted by UNCG at the Ivey M. Redmon Sports Complex in Kernersville, N.C. The Furman Paladins swept the championships winning both the men's and women's team championships and individual titles.
