The Western Carolina men’s and women’s cross country teams gave head coach Cale McDaniel the first two victories of his young head coaching career Saturday morning as the Catamounts swept the titles at the UNC Asheville Cross Country Invitational. Sophomore Kaitlyn Lingard repeated as individual champion in the women’s race after taking the title last season during her freshman campaign.
